Global wins Wates contract

Wates Living Space, one of the UK’s leading affordable housing providers, has appointed Global Environmental to provide asbestos surveys to facilitate electrical upgrades to social housing in Brent. Wates was appointed as Brent Housing Partnership’s Asset Management partner to carry out the ten year repairs and maintenance contract helping to invest in and improve homes across Brent.

As well as the electrical inspections  Global is also conducting external works to enable upgrades to fascias, soffits and rainwater goods. “Part of the ethos of Wates is to work with local partners, building on existing initiatives to create long term sustainable change,” said Paul Phillips of Global Environmental. “We are delighted to be included in that strategy and make a positive contribution to the built environment in Brent.”
