Meeting the demand

To meet increased demand for asbestos surveys and project management we have recruited three new lead surveyors. Daniel Illambas, Bruno Cifelli and Jack Haddow have joined Global Environmental’s survey team to complement the service we offer the construction and property sectors in the South East.

Operations Manager, Paul Phillips, explains the need to extend the team: “A number of social housing refurbishment schemes, which need asbestos surveys, have come on-stream this summer, some with an accelerated programme requiring us to hit the ground running. This added to a general increase in demand for surveys of commercial premises and schools generated by our seminar campaign has expanded our workload considerably.”

Global Environmental’s team of fully trained surveyors has practical experience of inspecting all property types from residential premises to offices, industrial buildings, schools and hospitals. All are required to sit the British Institute of Occupational Hygienists (BOHS) P402 module and are trained to carry out activities in accordance with our in house quality procedures. Global’s asbestos surveying is UKAS accredited: The company was awarded accreditation against ISO 17020, the standard of competence for inspection bodies by UKAS in April 2013.
