Our clients include:
Barts NHS Trust
We were appointed by Barts NHS Trust to carry out an extensive R&D asbestos survey of a number of buildings to be demolished or renovated. Our innovative approach included training one of our P402-accredited asbestos surveyors to access external areas using abseiling.
Birdbrooke Close – London Borough of Barking & Dagenham
We carried out a programme of asbestos surveys of a block of flats in Dagenham, London prior to its demolition. The project consisted of full pre-demolition surveys to 110 vacant flats and communal areas.
Dacorum Borough Council – Hertfordshire
We carried out planned and responsive asbestos surveying of the social housing managed by the Dacorum Borough Council, Hertfordshire, to support a major refurbishment program. Typically we surveyed 25-30 properties per week, with more in peak times. All results were provided within 48 hours, and we also provided an emergency service with a 12 hour turnaround.
East End Homes – London
We provided East End Homes with planned and responsive asbestos consultancy and services for over 4 years. We delivered surveys, management plans and expert advice. We also provided an emergency service with a site visit either the same day or next day, and sample results within 24 hours.
Poplar Baths – London Borough of Tower Hamlets
We carried out a refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey of Poplar Baths – a Grade II listed Victorian building. The survey followed an asbestos strip-out project previously carried out by another company. We identified substantial amounts of asbestos that the project had missed in pipe runs, the boiler room, and the swimming pool itself. We then project-managed the removal works.
Parker Street Shopping Area – Liverpool
We carried out management surveys of two retail units in the Parker Street shopping area in Liverpool, to prepare them for sale. Our client said “Global Environmental were able to plan and deliver this tricky asbestos surveying project with the minimum of fuss. Their ability to anticipate issues and liaise with occupants and other stakeholders is particularly impressive”.
